January 25th, 2017: Departure from Valencia at 8:00. The city of Valencia and the Valencia Lagoon
Departure railway (Estació del Nord, Xàtiva street, Hall of the train station)
08:00-10:00. Visit to the Valencia city centre
10:00-14:00. The Albufera de Valencia (Lagoon).
14:00-15:00. Lunch
15:00-18:00. The Mediterranean coast of Valencia.
18:00-20:00. Trip to the mountains
21:00-22:00. Dinner
January 26th, 2017. The role of fire in Mediterranean ecosystems
08:00-09:00. Breakfast
09:00-14:00. Fire affected land. A walk in the fires of Macizo del Caroig
14:00-15:00. Lunch
15:00-20:00. Visit of the Carcaixent forest fire.
21:00-22:00. Dinner
January 27th, 2017. Agriculture. Vineyards and Citrus. Include wine and orange tasting
08:00-09:00. Breakfast
09:00-14:00. Citrus plantations. Visit to the largest orange plantations in Europe. Walk along traditional and modern citrus plantation in La Ribera and La Costera.
14:00-15:00. Lunch
15:00-20:00. Visit to the vineyards and winery of Les Alcusses de Moixent.
21:00-22:00. Dinner
January 28th, 2017. The landscape of abandoned terraces
08:00-09:00. Breakfast
09:00-14:00. Visit to the active and abandoned terraces of La Vall d’Albaida
14:00-15:00. Lunch
15:00-20:00. Departure to Barcelona.
